On Friday 25th of January 2019, Explore Learning visited Nanaksar Primary School and set two challenges for the Year 5 students to complete in pairs. Brooke and Shivani, who were part of the Explore Learning team, shared clues and from them children were expected to make a particular pattern with the allocated numbers.

On 16th January 2019, 5JR and 5NV were invited to attend the Year 11 Arts Award performance, in the multi-purpose hall.

This was an afternoon for the children to be enlightened at the high level of performance and drama, which was based on the Alice in Wonderland story, with a few key scenes performed (from different angles), by different year 11 students.

The year 5 classes were very excited, as several individuals had siblings performing.  The children were asked to provide feedback on the cast and behind the scene students.  The children were thrilled to watch the performance and discussed in groups to give critical and positive responses.

An enjoyable afternoon was had by all.
