Every week the Year 10’s have a PSHE lesson with their form tutors focusing on different topics that relate to the students Personal, Social and Health Education. The aim of these sessions is to equip our students with the knowledge, understanding, attitudes and practical skills to live healthily, safely, productively and responsibly.
Alongside these sessions the Year 10’s also have a PSHE assembly once a term which focuses on current and relevant issues. This is usually delivered by a variety of external agencies such as Police, School Nurse, KISS agency etc.
During one PSHE assembly we had a constable from the metropolitan police leading a discussion on safer use of the internet. Information to post on the internet and other things that should be kept entirely private.
