PE at the Academy

At Guru Nanak Sikh Academy, we are fortunate to have the facilities to be able to teach a number of sports and activities. In the department, we have an Astroturf, two netball courts, 4 badminton courts, an indoor sports hall, rock climbing wall, roller blades and bikes to teach Cycling. We have Indoor Cricket nets and a bowling machine, 3 trampolines and a small fitness area.

We hold many clubs after school. PE staff, non PE staff and external coaches assist with the running of clubs so we can offer a wider range to our students. The house system is in full flow in the PE department with each form class being allocated to a house colour. Throughout the year, we hold many house competitions leading up to Sports Day which is held at Hillingdon Sports Centre.
