"Guru Nanak Sikh Academy works towards providing the best possible education for its students and provides for an excellent learning  environment in which they can excel.  The 2014 Ofsted report praised  the school, commenting ‘Students achieved well by the time they  leave’ adding students are polite, well mannered, respectful and keen to learn.  With regards to Key stage 5, ‘The Sixth form is good’ where ‘Effective teaching is leading to better results for many students’. At Guru Nanak Sikh Academy we see Sixth Formers as role models for the rest of the Academy and expect them to lead by example.

By undertaking Seva and helping others they show humility as well as practicing the Sikh principles of respect for parents, other adults, their peers, other religions and God.

As an Academy our aim is to help the development of young people in our Sixth Form so that they come to regard themselves as key members of an exciting and progressive school community. By utilising the excellent resources provided by the school, our students are able to realise their aspirations, ultimately to become citizens who contribute to their profession and to humanity."
