Year 4 Chocolate Making
For their Design and Technology lesson, Year 4 pupils designed and made their own chocolate treats. Through cross-curricular learning pupils were able to independently investigate the effect of temperature on solids and also on liquids. They concluded that solid chocolate needed to be heated to turn into a liquid and that the warm choco-late treat needed to cool to turn back into a solid. Pupils thoroughly enjoy being in the secondary food technology rooms and were true chefs on the day! Well done to all Year 4 pupils for their fantastic cooking skills and for producing mouth watering treats!
