
In order to simplify our data systems in school, we are streamlining the various platforms we currently use into one provider: Bromcom.
This change means all current school apps and systems will be replaced and brought together into one easy-to-use platform. With a single login, you’ll be able to access everything you need through the MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) app or Parent Portal.
From September, the new system will first replace School Gateway and ClassCharts, with other apps being gradually phased out as we complete the full transition.
The MCAS app will give you easy access to key information about your child’s education, including:
Attendance and punctuality
Timetables and classes
Behaviour data (rewards and sanctions)
School calendar dates
Online payments (e.g. dinner money, school trips, prom, music lessons)
You will also receive important messages—normally sent via email or text—directly through the app.
We strongly encourage all parents and carers to download the MyChildAtSchool – Parent App, as it will soon become one of our primary ways of keeping in touch.
The new system will go live in September.
You’ll receive a setup email in August with your login details.
Please make sure the school has your current email address.
