GNSA celebrated British Science week in March, following the theme of 'Innovating for the future'.

Number of activities were arranged by the Science department, including the research of a STEM person; students innovating ideas for preventing issues with biomass; smashing the stereotypes by celebrating the diverse people and careers in science and engineering.

During British Science week and to celebrate International Women’s Month, year 10 and 11 students attended a live interview with Sophie Bloodworth. Sophie is an undergraduate engineer student at Dyson who comes from West London. This interview allowed students to think about their next steps.
