Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)

STEM are subjects key to the UK’s future prosperity and global competitiveness. At Guru Nanak Sikh Academy, we ensure that all our students are empowered with skills, attributes and knowledge to take on all challenges during any unprecedented times and create a strong supply of highly skilled employees for the diverse industry.

In Secondary the students are prepared to skills, knowledge and understanding of the subjects involved in STEM are vital for all young students in an increasing Science and technology driven cultural society. From KS3 to KS5 Students are exposed to wide range of exciting, engaging and innovation curriculum. In Secondary the students are involved in several STEM activities through Teaching and learning.  

Franklin’s Young Inventors 

To support the drive and passion for science in students, during lock down a group of year 7 students were selected to join the after school science club - Franklin’s young Inventors. Every Tuesday evening, the students joined the virtual club to understand the contribution and innovations of Benjamin Franklin in Science, which was run by Benjamin Franklin House.
