In Spring 2's Geography topics the children are developing their world and place knowledge by studying different human and physical features around the world under different Geographical themes.

In KS1 the children will learn about features of the UK by learning about farms (Year 1) and seas and coasts (Year 2) to help them gain greater awareness of how Britain is structured.

In KS2 the children will learn about weather and geographical occurrences, studying the climate, natural disasters, rivers and the water cycle and climate change. They will also develop their map skills including grid references, compass directions and map symbols.

Please find attached knowledge maps which give an overview of each topic, including key vocabulary the children will learn.
