Year 4 Research Oak Trees

Year 4 have begun to take part in some research with Royal Holloway University which involves investigating Oak trees. This research involves linking up with a variety of schools across Europe and our school was proudly chosen to take part in it.

Pupils made model caterpillars from plasticine in class, and then went outside to attach their model creatures to the branches of some Oak trees. Pupils will now wait and observe what creatures take a nibble on their model creations. They will then try to identify what those creatures were.
