    Wellbeing Ambassadors

‘IT IS BEING HONEST ABOUT MY PAIN THAT MAKES ME INVINCIBLE.’

    Nayyirah Waheed

It’s that exciting time of year when we appoint our new Wellbeing Ambassadors for each class! Pupils were invited to apply by writing letters explaining why they would make great ambassadors—and we were truly amazed by the number of thoughtful and heartfelt submissions we received.

After much careful consideration, we are delighted to announce our Wellbeing Ambassadors for 2025–2026! Each ambassador will play an important role in promoting kindness, inclusion, and positive wellbeing across our school.

Below, you’ll find a selection of the wonderful letters that made this year’s process so inspiring.

Wellbeing Ambassadors Lead World Mental Health Day Assembly

The ambassadors’ first task was to plan and lead a special assembly in recognition of World Mental Health Day. Together, they brainstormed ideas and key messages to share with the school, focusing on the importance of mental health and wellbeing for everyone.

They reminded pupils that it’s completely normal to experience a range of emotions—and encouraged everyone to talk openly about their feelings with a trusted adult. The ambassadors also highlighted the many ways our school offers support, including the Sheru Worry Boxes in each classroom. Their key message: never hesitate to reach out for help if something is worrying you.

The ambassadors confidently delivered their assembly to the whole school, sharing thoughtful reflections and powerful reminders about the importance of looking after our mental health—together.
