    Exam Contingency Days

    The contingency days are in the event of national or significant local disruption to exams in the United Kingdom, being part of the awarding bodies’ standard contingency planning for exams.

    For the June 2026 exams, the awarding bodies have introduced two additional half-day contingency sessions. These are on Wednesday 10 June 2026 and Wednesday 24 June 2026.
